Highlights around the showground

Archery

A ‘have a go stand’, run by the Sudbury Tudor Archers. Great fun for all the family.

Art Exhibition and Sale

The art tent offers a first class exhibition of local art work and sculpture.  It’s a lovely tent to walk through and enjoy what’s on show.  It also gives visitors the opportunity to purchase a little something to take home. If exhibiting and selling artwork sounds like something you might like to get involved with in the future, please contact the Show Office.

Education Tent

This is a growing area of the show that is situated next to The Countryside Ring. This year’s theme of ‘Your Sunday Roast’ gave children the opportunity to find out more about where the food on their plate comes from. Lots of hands on activities can be found in the Education Tent including craft. Local schools will also have their artwork on display.

Floral and Horticultural Marquees

The Flower and Horticulture tent offers many impressive displays across various categories. It’s a calm and enjoyable area to stroll through so is always popular with visitors. This year’s theme was the ‘The Showground’ and the 180th Hadleigh Show. If you enjoyed looking at the exhibits, then do get involved in next year’s Show.

Gun Dog Scurry

A must for all budding dog trainers – all working dogs are welcome, as well as handlers – young and old!  Our thanks to Simbo’s for running the scurry up in the Top Meadow.

The Poultry Tent

Unfortunately with the ongoing Avian Influenza outbreak for this year we won't be able to host the Poultry area but this will be back for 2023

The Funfair

The funfair at the Hadleigh Show is always popular.  It offers a great range of entertainment for children of all ages, and some grown ups too!  Head to the funfair end of the showground for the carousel, bouncy castle, hook a duck and helter skelter.  And don’t forget the candyfloss.

Open Friday 6-10.30pm, Saturday  - all day during show hours, Sunday  - 1pm - 5pm
