What time does the Hadleigh Show start and finish?

Gates are open to the general public from 8.30am. Entry to the showground closes at 4.30pm..

 

Are dogs allowed on the showground?

Dogs are welcome. However, they must be kept on a short lead and are not allowed in the marquees or in the livestock lines. Please clear up any mess.

 

Is there free parking near the showground?

There is free parking in fields both sides of the showground (Hadleigh and Layham). Please note that there may be a delay gaining access to the car parks at peak times and your patience is very much appreciated. Likewise, the main routes to the show are via small country lanes and therefore can get congested. Please do bear with us; our Parking Attendants will be working hard to ensure visitors are parked up safely in the car parks as quickly as possible.

 

Is there disabled parking available?

Yes. Forward Parking for all Blue Badge holders is available. Please show your Blue Badge to a Parking Attendant who will direct you to the closest space available to the show ground.

Are mobility scooters available for hire?

Event Mobility (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) will be providing electric mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs at this event for the use of mobility impaired, disabled and elderly visitors.

To reserve an electric mobility scooter or manual wheelchair please book online at www.eventmobility.org.uk/book-your-scooter.

Online bookings must be made 2 days before the event.

Bookings cannot be taken during the event. If there is spare equipment available at the event it is offered on a first come, first served basis only.

Are there toilets on site?

Toilets, including disabled access, are located in blocks on either side of the Grand Ring 1. They are clearly signposted and marked on the map in the centre pages of the Show programme. Alternatively, ask any Steward for directions.

 

Are there baby changing facilities available?

Baby changing facilities are available in the toilet blocks either side of Grand Ring 1. Please refer to the map in the centre pages of the Show programme for the exact location or ask a Steward who will be happy to help. Play Out, Hadleigh also offer a baby feeding and changing area near the Education Tent.

 

Can I buy lunch, snacks and drinks?

There are numerous food and drink outlets at the Hadleigh Show, as well as picnic benches for your use. Coffees, ice creams and strawberries and cream are also available as well as a licensed beer tent.

 

Is there a cashpoint at the showground?

There are no cash vending machines on the showground. The nearest are located a few hundred yards away at The Co-Op on the High Street or at Morrisons just outside the town

 

Where can I buy a show guide?

Show guides are available to buy near the entry gates and cost £2.50. Inside you will find all the information you need for the day, including time tables of events, map of the showground, list of stall holders and information about all of our kind sponsors and supporters.
